This majestic church was built on the Montmartre hill (the Butte Montmartre), at the end of the nineteenth century. This area of the 18th arrondissement of Paris is known to be very artistic and still looks like a small village inside the city.  The whole family will like the particular atmosphere by the Sacré-Cœur. To visit the basilica, you can take a funicular or if you’re feeling ambitious, you can climb the 237 stairs. After that, you will have to climb again to get right under the dome. From there, you will have a wonderfull view of Paris. The French capital will be at your feet !
