The Buttes Chaumont are a true urban mountain – it is Paris’s highest point, from whence you will enjoy incomparable panoramas. The park itself is a hilly landscape where the kids will definitely have fun.

The park has 25 acres of hills, ponds and gardens, where indigenous and exotic trees grow alike, neighbouring torrents and cascades which flow, off from cliffs and under bridges. Don’t miss the Belvedere, called the Temple of Sybil: it is set at the top of a 30 metre rock peak above the lake, and will allow you to get wonderful views of the park and of Paris.

You will also find lovely restaurants to have lunch or diner among the Buttes. Two Guignol theatres, and several other attractions, will entertain your kids!

  • Open everyday, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. during summer / until 9 p.m. in winter
  • Place Armand Carrel, 75019 Paris, France
